Al. Welcome to MLU. That is a fine looking Ford you have got there.

I guess you have been lurking for a while and now you have made the second best move you could make. The first was to obtain 'Bill', the second to mate up with MLU. You will get more help than you can use as we are all interested in your progress.

Where in Australia do you live. I would guess Victoria by the Club Plate rego on 'Bill'. That is an old CPS plate and unfortunately you probably will not be able to have it re-issued, unless the previous owner kept up the permit and you belong to the same vehicle club. On the positive side is that as 'Bill' was manufactured before 1st January 1949, you will not require a Road Worthy Certificate,'IF' the Club you belong to does not require one in their Statement of Purpose or By-Laws. 'Bill' will have to be signed off as safe to use on the road as ascertained by your Club Safety Officer and kept that way.
