Default KEYS, Lock, Corbin Type PD 1291, No. C1

This little panel lock is found on the front of the Wireless Set No. 52 Cdn Sender, directly below the Power Output Selector Switch. With the lock engaged, the set cannot be put into High Power Output mode (toggle switch fully depressed).

What has peaked my curiosity is that this is a Corbin lock and is typical of the type of lock found on office desk drawers. Corbin padlocks are also commonly found on CMP Stowage Bins.

The descriptions for these Corbin Keys and Panel Locks are as follows:

KEYS, Lock, Corbin Type PD 1291, No. C1

Brass, approx. 1-11/16-in x ¾-in overall with 3/16-in hole; engraved with type number PD 1291 ZA/CAN 4522

LOCKS, Panel, 7/8-in dia, 1-7/16-in centres w/2 Keys, No. C1 ZA/CAN 4306

The wireless table on the WIRE-5 Wireless Truck, and probably a number of other model Wireless Truck wireless tables, has a locking desk drawer. I am wondering if this is the same lock being used for the wireless desk drawers and the 52-Set Sender Output Power lock? Can anyone with an original wireless table with original drawer lock check the lock to see if it is a match?

The 52-Set Manual states that all wireless locks are keyed the same. I wonder also if this common key applied to all wireless desk locks and CMP stowage bin padlocks as well?
