Early mornings at the barn are usually quiet affairs. Today was different - the Hammond Airforce was out in numbers that make the 1000 bomber plans of WWII look small. There were so many skeeders flying around that if a fella had two slices of bread and clapped them together, he could have a good meat sandwich.
After drowning myself in DEET and other wonders of the chemical world, I got down to business. After refurbishing the gas petal and mount, a few old tools and lots of nuts and bolts, I decided to attach the windshield mounts to the HUP.
It may not seem to be overly significant, but it was (constantly interrupted by slapping of bugs) progress.
