The tarp is an interesting part of the sale if it is actually ww2 original. From GMH factory photo's of #4 trailers, it appears that it might be original, but more shots of the tarp would be better! I dont think there would be too many floating around now a days!
Definitely a #4, but not sure if FMC or GMH. From what i have observed, the easiest way to tell the difference between the a GMH and FMC is the style of hook to hold the tarp on. I have only seen one other manufacturers trailer (an IHC #3) so i cant comment on them.
GMH has a pointy end/tip of the tie down.
FMC has a flatter squared off, pressed end tip of the tie down.
Also interesting are the original rims and i would even guess the original tyres.
Will be interesting to see what it brings.
