Just after I posted my question, I thought to check my Osprey book on the Universal Carrier
, near the back is a pic of a carrier towing a 6 pdr. and I thought "this makes sense", I guess it's just hopeful thinking that it might be something really different, like more armour and a something like a golf bag full of PIAT's
