Command Vehicle in Egypt...

I'm back with one my usual cries for help. The photo is from George Forty's "Desert Rats at War" and shows what is described as the 7th Armoured's first ACV. Any guesses as to the make of the truck (and possibly to plans or photos of the type)? Thank you all in advance!
