In addition Tony´s link, this Dutch webpage provided some more information:

After serving in NW Europe, USAAF serial 42-93312 c/n 13210 was one of several hundred C-47’s present at Manilla in the Philippines shortly before the end of war. The Marine Luchtvaart Dienst (MLD, Royal Netherlands Naval Air Services) bought fifteen of these aircraft (at probably scrap value) which were registered Q-1 to Q-15 (later renumbered to W-1 to W-15). Between December 1945 and February 1946 they were ferried from Manilla to Sydney by MLD pilots to reinforce the Navy Detachment in Australia.
During a flight on 26 March 1947 from Sydney to Jakarta, Indonesia, Q-12 got into trouble after being hit by lightning over Katherine Gorge Wilderness. The electric systems went out of service, thus radio and navigation equipment were no longer available. The pilot decided to make an emergency landing with retracted landing gear. The six occupants and a dog exited the aircraft safely. But the damage to the three year old aircraft was considerable and it could not be flown out.
Q-12 was towed to the town of Katherine, and then on towards Darwin through a river bed and jungle. To enable this transport the wings were removed from the aircraft. It was transferred by ship from Darwin to Sydney.
Aeroflight lists the following details:
Quote:
16 C-47A aircraft delivered from USAAF 22 December 1945 to 29 April 1946. Used as cargo transport. First fifteen serialled Q-1 to Q-15, but reserialled 23-1 to 23-15 in February 1946, and 23-16 added. Used by 321 sqn in NEI (Indonesia). Most transferred to Indonesian AF ownership by 15 December 1950.

Serial | c/no. | Prev. Identity | Delivered | Fate/Notes
Q-12 | 13210 | 42-93312 | 23 Apr 1946 | later 23-12, accident Port Darwin 26 Mar 1947
