OK, so it's not CMP, not even military, but perhaps we could stretch the truth a little and suggest it's ex-RAAF?
This has to be the most gob-smackingly bizarre (but in a good way!!) vehicle I have had the pleasure to covet madly. It would be the right sort of vehicle to attract attention at an Airshow! Not only is it a unique vehicle, it is also vintage, having been built in
1950 by the late Bill Chater.
It is built on a '40s vintage International KB-5 truck, it is the front fuselage of an Ex-Netherlands East Indies Navy, then Ex-KLM C47 Dakota. It is fully road registered and travels about as a camper van and for display events.
