For you non-Canucks, this is an ongoing series on TV showing various elements of the Canadian Armed Forces as they train & prepare for both war and peace. Most of the time it's actually quite good, with numerous interviews with involved personnel of all ranks, the end result of which is a good understanding of the complex minutiae of any armed force - all Canadians should be forced to watch this!
Right now, they're repeating a segment I saw earlier during the week about Artillery - really good! I'd just like to take my hat off to them - they have a great attitude and an even better sense of humour. Not only that, they also have some
really cute ladyfolk in their officer corps, some of whom are actually on the guns... and I do love the old red-banded khaki caps worn by the DS at the arty school at Gagetown - talk about retaining Tradition!
