Re. Khaki Green No.3
Mike
I sourced the colour during the restoration of the Museum's Carrier. Colour was located in a hidden obscure place that had'nt been subjected to too much weathering and overpainting. I took the scrapings to my regular paint provider, Protec Paint, and they matched it up. I have been using this version for a couple of years. If you like I can bring a sample to Corowa for you.
Of interest, off the modeller's site, they talk about Khaki Green (but no number).
B.S 381-1939 - base colour, 3 colour disruptive pattern Europe 1939 (Humbrol colour 30, Tamiya colour XF26/Xf58). They then suggest the base colour for Europe 1942 is the same B.S number but Humbrol colour 151.
