Hi Phil,

I'm afraid I am no welder. I wouldn't know a mig weld from a Mig 15. However, I have discussed your message with the chap who is going to be fixing the nuts, and he says that he sees no problem with Mig welding them. He's a bit laconic, so didn't add much to that.
