I was originally a Driver/Wireless Operator in the 49th LAA Rgt. RA (Part of the 78th British Infantry Div) and when this was disbanded in December 1944 I was retrained and posted to the 4th Queen's Own Hussars as a Loader/Operator on a Stuart "Honey" tank.
Happy to answer any queries relating to either of these units or any other general research areas.
