The 128 for a Corps Provost Company appears to be a previous marking over which the 4th Armoured Brigade tac has been painted. You can see the Boomerang of the 4th Amd is overlapping the 2 and 8, which would never have been done in service. All unit ID numbers for the 4th Armoured Bde were 2 digit, so I'd be looking in the blank panel on the right of the Croc for more numbers.
