Can't say about the civil war cannons, but 50 cal, and even some of the smaller calibers like the .338 Lapua, and the .416 cartridge, are all prohibited from export to civilians. So are barrel blanks, and parts and accessories for these guns.

And if you do manage to get a 50 cal Boys, you will have a bit of trouble finding ammo for it. The US won't allow the export of brass cases, primers, or bullets for 50 cal. Here in Canada 50 cal ammo is now at $8 per round, and drying up.

Still, even at $8, it is still cheaper (and more plentiful) than trying to find Boys ammo which will run you from $25 to $40 a round when you can find it.
