London, Ontario June Fun?
Military Heritage Event – London Ontario
Gents,
I got a note from Peter Simundson that directed me to call a fellow in London, Ontario who is collecting military displays and such for a display at a mall in London. Dates 03June07 to 16June07.
As a continuation of an initiative he began as part of the Year of the Veteran a few years ago, Grant McKillop is trying to organize green vehicles for the show. I have offered to plop my Universal Carrier for the internal display.
My question to the SouthWestern Ontario military vehicle owners is this – who would show up in a jeep, CMP, UniMog, CUCV or other military looking vehicle for a few hours in the parking lot of Westmount mall for an informal ‘show and don’t shine’ for this cause? The date would probably be 09June07.
Please drop me a note to give me an indication of who can support this worthwhile endeavour.
