Hi Garmack:
As odd as it sounds, go hang out at a highway restaurant where truckers gather... the kind with showers and good food. Wear makeup!
Seriously, a couple of cups of coffee, strike up a conversation with a trucker with Ontario plates... there are many that are dropping a load and don't want to go home "dead head" (empty).
I moved a bren carrier from Whitehorse to Edmonton for a couple of hundred bucks that way.
Independants are more willing to sling on a load than drivers for a big company as the company rigs frequently have GPS in 'em and the boss asks the driver embarrassing questions like: why he was two hours in Suchnsuchville when its not on his route?
Be prepared to have it dropped somewhere and your receiver may have to go fetch it... a 100 miles is alot cheaper than 2205 miles!
Good luck!

Mike
