Default Packards on Imperial service

Currently reading a very interesting book called "The Secret Wireless War" by Geoffrey Pidgeon. At the outbreak of WW2 MI6 (SIS) in England bought up to 70 Packards for conversion to special wireless units. They purchased hardtops, convertibles and even limos, often right from the dealer's showroom. These new, shiny cars were then painted in camo, the back seat was stripped out and special wireless equipment and batteries/charger were then fitted. These units followed only the senior HQ staff and provided decrypted ULTRA info to the commanders in the field. They proved unsuitable for North Africa where the QL 4X4 was used and when the war in Europe progressed the Guy 15 cwt and the Dodge ambulance were converted for use.

Has anyone seen any pictures of these vehicles or have anymore info on them?
