I don't mind intelligent relevent questions. Actually I rather enjoy them. But random dribble like the 14 posts before yours are what waste my time. I don't know everything, not even close but I do know somethings. Most times I have posted anything it has been challenged to the extreme until given absolute proof positive. As I am on very slow dial up it gets very time consuming.
As for your legimate questions, The truck is not together at the moment, the body is hoisted into the ceiling of my now "old" shop and the chassis is in the back half of the shop. With myself moving, my father passing, then my mother moving, pictures haven't been a priority but none the less they will be coming. The hitch and fairleads were cut off but I have the rear frame section from a'43 cab 13 that by my research should be a direct replacement. The only i.d. I had was a plate from the body that had been painted over. I sent it to a professional art restorer to have it cleaned properly but they sent it back regular mail and it got lost. Funny though they still cashed the money order. The axles are chev removeable center not the ford split case. as for the "216" I am unfamiliar with this. The body was cut off 2" behind the doors down to the floor. Once I have the shop cleared and the truck together I will try to forward pictures, or even arrange for you to see it yourself.
