Default Mud scraper

Thanks, I have always wondered what they were for, in my ignorance I thought the "bracket" was the scraper.

If its not too much bother a photo would be great, I am engaged on a project to super-detail the Tamiya kit to the AOP carrier, for an "after market" company. I have the engine bay master completed, and the version will be the MkI AOP.

One of my models has appeared on the "softskin forum", I did an AEC 850/FWD R6T some while back.

The MkII scraper bracket was a much simplified version as to the one on the MKI I believe.

One other point, I have reprints from the parts manual, courtesy of Bovington, and am not sure about the bottom panels on the engine cover. It seems there are three panels, attached by "wing bolts". The front panel clears the cam cover, the second has a cut out for the support bracket, hull side to engine bearer, but the third panel is hidden behind the fuel tank. Do you have a clear photo of the shape of the rear panel? I assume that all three panels were fitted to the angle iron running the length of the engine bay, and the engine bearer.

Thanks in advance, I can be contacted at george.dfs@virgin.net

George Moore.
