Wow, and the ceremony is September 17th ... that DAY is personally signifigant to my family as it was my Uncle Eddie's birthday (Sept 17, 1922) and his father's death day (Sept 17, 1945) both from Manitoba, both served with Royal Winnipeg Rifles, different wars ... and I totally agree with you that it SHOULD BE IN OTTAWA to better reflect CANADIAN in it's Capitol City!!!

I'm very sad that the memorial isn't to be in Ottawa, especially when thinking about my Fallen Soldiers relatives, like Uncle Ed.
