Bob asked a while back for the name of a reliable supplier of wire for CMP wiring harness materials , cloth covered vinyl wire, and looming. Well I just went through purchasing the wire making up the harness and sending out to have the covering loomed onto the harness.
Here is the time line of project-- June 19 ordered wire, June 21th received spools of wire, (June 22-26 away at Cadwell, June 27 started laying out the harness on pin board, June 30th shipped harness out to be loomed, July 3rd received the loomed harness back. http://riwire.com/ I told them in my first e-mail that I was pushing to get the harness installed in a truck for a show at the end of July and they gave me very fast turn around.
Now as to cost: Wire and connectors approximately $205 US (I say approximately because I ordered enough wire for 3 trucks) cost to have the looming done on one harness was $114 US.

Now I’ve got to install the harness and then put the wire terminals on, almost a shame to put this nice clean harness into the truck as it will undoubtedly be oil covered in 100 miles or so.
