Hi to all -

By any chance, does anyone have any info ref the issuing of civilian vehicle registration numbers to British armoured vehicles ? Why was it done, on whose decision and from when ?

Much more importantly, has anyone ever come across any archives covering the issuing of these numbers ? I belive I am right in saying that all the numbers came from those held by the County of Middlesex.

I have attempted to contact DVLA on several occaisions, but they do not bother to answer...
