... truly! I never expected such an attitude from you. But, me being an easy going guy, knock yourself out.
Did you know that there was a time that women were not considered as people?
Then there was a time when women didn't have the vote.
I can introduce you to men who think that these are still bad ideas.
My point is oppression can happen anywhere to anyone, where does it stop. I mean governments waste billions on foreign loans to dictators and billions on forcing english people to try to speak french, and on failing companies that "surprise ,surprise" still fail.
So a few millions for spousal for a small group is nothing.
Let me pose this to you, if you have one child and get benefits for the through your job , do you think its fair that people with 5 children get 5 times the benefits, use 5 times the resources available. Or do you think sinle people should have to pay school tax for people that have children? What if they never have children should they still be forced to pay.
What if we all get to choose what we pay on ? WOuld democracy work then? Hockey gets millions in Government support dollars, far above any other sport. I hate hockey, I would rather my money be spent on Rugby. Bottom line is we are in a large family and we have to share though we don't have to like it. Of course we could ethnic cleanse and have large camps to hold undesirables, until we get tired of paying for guards...
Live and let live. And turn your television off so you don't have to watch it, like the aboriginal awards show....
