i bought a series of post cards titled" the canadian armed forces"
the one below has a write up on the back which i thought was interesting.
SS11B ANTI TANK GUIDED MISSLE SYSTEM
the ss11b anti tank guided missle is a self propelled, command guided missle designed on a two stage solid propellent propulsion unit. it is fired from a launcher and is guided by signals transmitted by two wires which unwind from a pair of spools housed in the missle. the 66 pound missle has a range of from 500 to 3000 metres with a flight time of 24 seconds at maximum range.
