Hi Board,
Happy new year to every one, and I hope 2006 stacks up to be as good as last year, military vehicle wise at least
The Army Museum at Waiouru New Zealand is holding a open day/days between 04-06 February 2006. It is going to based around there extensive vehicle collection, another words every thing is coming out for a yeeha (armour especially).
If any one is interested in coming along they are more than welcome to participate with the regular volunteers that will be attending. This event has been advertised on national television
so the general public will also be there. We are hoping to have
vehicle runs after hours around the training area, subject to how many drivers we can muster

so there should be something for everyone.
I would like to see any of the NZ Military Vehicle Collectors Club (NZMVCC) members attend, there invitation was overlooked to late to add in the last months newsletter
If you would like to help in preparing the vehicles for the show you are also welcome as many hands make light work. There will be a working bee the weekend prior, any one interested in this can contact me here by PM or alternatively you can get in touch with George Pycraft at the Waiouru army Museum (E-mail
armymuseum@xtra.co.nz )
So we hope to see you there.
Cheers,
Brent Delaney.
