I read that there should be four LCVP survivors in Normandy, but I have only seen two in person uptill now. This one is at the entrance of the museum at UTAH beach:

The other boat you pictured is indeed an LCP, of which about 80 were delivered to the British for the Normandy landings. The base is quite similar to the LCVP/Higgins design.
LCVP's were also produced post war, allthough these were made from fibre-glass.
Should we open another thread specifically for surviving landing boats and craft? I have been seacrhing for information on these over the last few weeks. There are at least two surviving LST's and one US LCT on display in the USA and one surviving British LCT in the UK. There should still de several craft and boats in service in merchant service and/or in the Greek and Fillipine navy!
