Gentlemen,
Let us use this as a Learning Tool. Most of us know everyone else involved in this R.O.T. stuff... here, by happenstance, we learned someone tried to pass off another's rightful property as their own, with the same tacitly accepted by the receiver. I shall not name names, but you both know who you are, and please be advised that from this time forward, you're on the Watch List. I don't give a shit what your excuses might be, but your actions constitute FRAUD. Both of you knew to whom these vehicles belonged... hmmm... what does that say about YOU?
Rob and I settled things between us quite amicably, with my overriding proviso being that I be amongst the first passengers in his new Ford (he'll also be feeding me a beer or two
). Rob's a hell of a good man doing good work, and I wish him the best; he was a victim here, not a player.
Guys, the lesson is this: cover your collective arses, because no one else will.
A lesson learned, for me and I hope others.
