Thanks a lot Garry ... and as for your interview on Friday, excellent news to know they want you to come in Friday ... my positive energy will be flowing your way, as I know how nervewracking this whole "interview" thing is ... and geez, they get harder as you get older don't they? I find mid-life job-hunting to be a little ...

... the benefits of hiring older employees are excellent ...
My own interview, went well. The man spent an HOUR with me ... which already tells you he felt good enough about me to spend that much time out of his busy schedule. This guy is serious about what he does and as an employer he's one of the good guys for sure... and really believes in teamwork (as do I) He even offered to pay for me to take a Quickbooks course if he takes me on (which at this point I sense/know that I'm at the top of the list as the best candidate SO FAR for what he wants and needs ... as much of that fits in with my own wants and needs) He has two more interviews to do, and says he'll probably be ready to make his decision mid next week.
I suspect, unless a better person for the job pops up in his next two interviews, that he'll go with me. So many things "just work" both ways, for short term and long term.
He's even flexible enough that should Sunray and I want to attend an event during the week that it's more than likely that he/we will be able to work that in/around work ... so ...
I don't have the job yet ... but after an hour it seems like he and I would probably work well together ... he's a good/smart boss, and no idiot. I'd start at 2 days per week ...
I'm sure he'll run some checks on my work history in the interim
All I can say is ... so far, so good ... but the job isn't mine yet, so don't break out the Tim Tams in celebration just yet
Garry ... knock 'em dead on Friday!
