Small update. Hamilton Bridge used a lot of threaded holes and round head slot screws. 80 years later that resulted in a lot of snapped off rusted in place screws. For the ones highlighted with the arrows I ground down the remains of the screw. They were centre punched and drilled out for the right size to re-thread the holes back to 5/16-18. Tonight was the first time I used a new to me threading tool and it worked great. I holds the tap to be squared up to the surface where you will be threading the hole. 8 more holes done…..only about two dozen more to go.
