if you look at the picture above,,, the outside of the brake drum had 3 threaded holes for the cap....... I imagined that I could put 5/16 bolt in there and push out the inside bearing... no such luck the holes are deadened......
Keep going! The bearings are probably frozen in place and held in with dried up grease for good measure. I tried using 3 bolts to evenly press out the bearing, it seemed much kinder than whacking it with a punch as shown in the manual. It worked!
