Thank-you for your input - I am going to try Peters AI info as it seems logical. I will be quoting MLU as the source as there appears to be nothing else out there in terms of books/articles. Certainly the date quoted ties in with the manufacturers plate (assuming it is genuine as I have no comparison and it does have the patina). The fact that it may have originated from Australia would certainly help confuse the issue.
