Maybe restart an old thread with a new request?
I found this Pintle, Spring and Bracket at the rubbish tip today when dropping off the garbage, and well, it kinda fell into the trailer on the way out.
The pintle lever is free moving and works, but is a little tight. I could only find the one bracket, despite looking for the other.
The general arrangement is from a Commonwealth vehicle, but it is not CMP. The bracket has the remnant of Deep Bronze Green and Olive Drab paint, so is definitely ex-Mil, and the taillight bulb is 6V, so that went straight into spares.
But what is the Pintle from? I seem to recall a thread on a similar Pintle Hook, but could not find it by search. Was it maybe from a Ford Marmon-Herrington Truck?
