Thanks very much Richard, will do as you suggest with light oil in the plug holes.
Pretty sure this is ex Aust Army, no rebuild docket tube on it, did have some numbers in black stencilled on the rocker cover, B7 K7 (?), came off in the wash and not sure exactly. Photographed them of course, but camera is not here at present.
