I'd love to have a CMP to take to our events to remind my Yank friends that they didn't win WW II singlehandedly. Do many CMP's in running condition pop up for sale in your neck of the woods very often? Would you mind letting me know if any do? I thought about bidding on the one that was for sale on ebay recently, but the reserve was $9000.00 usd which is too rich for me and I think too high for what he was offering. I've also seen a much modified C15 with no box on the back for sale for $2700.00 in Illinois, but I prefer the four wheel drive variety. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

We'll keep an eye out for you, Derek, but there are a number of the beasts in the States, which might be cheaper for you in the long run. Unfortunately, the price you quoted was probably par for the course, albeit we haven't seen the truck. Restored/complete versions are rare enough in North America as it is, given the erosion of time and weather. What you in the U.S. have an advantage in is that they are not in the same demand as jeeps etc, given the U.S. Army never used them. That might make a difference.
Cheers,
Geoff
