There is a product used by industry, made by a company called Belzona, based in UK and USA. They have numerous two part products for these sort of repairs. Their rep. gave us a demo once and related a story of how someone with a vintage tractor had contacted them to see if any of their products could repair his frost damaged cylinder block. He was told to clean it up and an they would come out and fill the cracks for him. When the guy arrived he was horrified to see a great gaping hole in the engine. The owner had removed all the cracked pieces to clean them, anyway they pieced the jigsaw together using Belzona bonded it in and smoothed it over. They had a report sometime later that it was running without problems.
