The other mounting option in the carriers was the #23 version. It had the power supply beside the main wireless unit like the #21 but it also had space for the control box. Usually the variometer would be mounted onto a metal seating plate the fastened to the side of the power supply. This placed the variometer more or less over the top edge of the control box so all components were streamlined.
This one was surplus to my vehicle requirements but has already been sold...
