I'm quite sure the nominal range for the fuel sender/gauge pairing for the Chev CMPs is 0-30 ohms.

I'm also quite sure that the values for Ford CMPs were different as each started out using their own civilian pattern gauges and matching senders.
I'm not sure what happened when Ford went to the round gauges but believe Chevrolet kept the 0-30 range. I don't have manuals to hand to confirm this but will add more when I get the chance to check.
