Default Sable Island

I bet you it is still on the Island. I used to know the owner of a charter operation who used his Islanders ( twin engine short field aircraft ) to ferry scientists and supplies to and from Sable. They landed on the beach at low tide because there was no airfield. This was in the late 80's early 90's ... I think they use helo's now. Anyway i got to fly the Islander and many of his other interesting airplanes like the Cessna 337, ex military spotting planes used in Vietnam . Not much is taken out of Sable because of cost so they must have an interesting dump. There was a station there during the last war . Weather and submarine spotting , so that might explain the presence of the Carrier. Very interesting picture indeed . Remote and lonely place .

Is that the bracket for the smoke discharger on the right hand side of the Carrier ?

In the back , is that a storage bin also consistent with a Mk I ?

No side steps but sand guards intact .
