If you set yourself up with one of the two parcel service companies in Pembina, ND, you can order from the USA for delivery there with no problem. Just drive down when it arrives and pick it up.

Also, the Winnipeg Amateur Radio Club offers two Amateur Radio courses each year. Five weeks every Saturday for $75.00 including all textbooks. As long as you get 80%, or better, on the final exam, you are good to operate much of the available ex military radio equipment.

As mentioned, wireless equipment is getting more and more expensive to source. Hard to justify that kind of investment sitting gathering dust. If you can actually work it at a show, it really draws a crowd and helps bring your vehicle to life.
