The Jeep is a commercial CJ 2, not military. The larger headlights bulging into the left and right grill slats are the giveaway. The rest of the vehicle is probably a rust bucket, from the presence of the A-frame and nothing else visible. For this group's interests, there is nothing military there. As a rolling vehicle, there are clever people who put new-build MB and GPW bodies on CJ frames and use those as daily or occasional drivers.
