After doing a fair bit of research I was able to find out that The National Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa has The Bickle Seagrave and Thibault production records. The Bickle Seagrave records are catalogued by name of purchaser and serial number of vehicle, so was able to find and get copies of the original shop order and production photo for the 1953 Bickle Seagrave. Unfortunately the Thibault archives is not so well organized. Emails direct to Thibault have resulted in no response.
Neither archive lists total number of vehicles produced or gives pictures of the vehicles from different angles.
I have been in contact with the "Home Of The Canadian Military and DND FR Group Firefighters Online"
www.firehouse651.com and the good folks there are looking for what they might be able to find for photos and information to help us out.
Any photos of the trucks from different angles would be helpful in the restoration process since a fair bit of equipment has been removed over the years.
Thanks again
Walter
