24 volt trickle charge, New product
We have for a long time been using CTEK 12 volt trickle charger maintainers with overcharge protection to keep batteries ready in the collection of vehicle here at work.
The issue with them i needing to fit a disconnect between the two batteries and the grumbling that goes on about putting it back together etc.
We have been made aware of, and now purchased a new charger.
The name of the make is unclear but this is what it looks like. We bought ours for about $90 plus taxes at Bensons here in Ontario.
I did have to put larger ring terminals on it but we do that anyway with the CTEK units.
Of note, we did once try the BOSCH version of the 12 volt CTEK but they do not initiate very easily so as a user we binned them.
Hope this helps. FYI I don't work for Bensons or the maker of these units.
As a cautionary note, any of these types of units can build up quite a bit of heat so be careful where you leave them for a long period of time in use.
