Default Nov 11 2015 South Surrey Legion

We got very lucky and for the third year in a row the rains that have bracketed Remembrance Day ceased and the sun was out. Another great turnout of people this year. Having done our best to get the Stuart together in time, we had to admit defeat and reach into the old trick bag to take something to fill the promised spot. So just like it did in most of its career, 13C filled the role of a tank and provided the support needed!

We got her in place early AM as there is very little room to move safely once the crowds arrive. It also provides a great time for a private photo shoot.

The people did arrive and we were treated to a low level flyover by a quartet of vintage planes just after 11am.

Anyway old 13 Charlie provided a great backdrop for pictures and it was great to see a whole new generation with a keen interest in the service as well as the vehicles.

These two gentlemen were reminiscing about their first experience with the 113 when stationed in Germany...in 1965!
