Always looking for new archive sources, started browsing and came across this 8th Canadian Field Ambulance photograph album

But the photos tell a story of total war we think of destruction in terms of WWII heavy bombing this is what years of heavy shell fire can do. I was interested in the Ambulance Corp photos as my grandfather was a surgeon with the US Expeditionary Force.
Will be exploring the site more and thanks.
