If the wheel is a TL94, it should be fine On British and Canadian carriers given its a 43 casting I have a number of wheels that had previously been fitted with the bronze solid bush system.. They clean up and make wonderful coasters !

You can remove the bronze bushes from the wheels by removing the steel retainer ring. Then fit the later bearings without issue.... I have done this on a few wheels now, and we also did it on a wheel change during the Holland trip last year.

I know there are early wheels which have a smaller OD bearing, Kev had a set...
