In answer to your track question, the Swiss didn't make their own track but they modified the original USA tracks by reducing the link width and then used their own special track pins for assembly which are shorter than standard USA/British/Canadian pattern.

Good spare parts for the T-16 are really drying up so you need to factor that into what is missing or will need to be replaced on the project vehicle. A fully restored T-16 will command a higher price than a M29C minus float tanks that is fully restored. But an unrestored T-16 doesn't come anywhere near the value of a running Weasel in any condition assuming it has good tracks/bands.
