Which 235?
Bob, the 235 Chev engine I refer to is the WW2 era splash feed/low pressure engine as used in American trucks particularly the G-506, 4x4, 1-1/2 ton Chev. It has many parts in common with the 216 including the starter.
A lot of people outside the U.S. are unaware of this engine and immediately associate the 235 displacement with the full pressure 50s era engine generally known in this country as the 'Blue Flame'.
