Hi Rick

Yes it certainly could be Turkish. The picture I have shows a knife bayonet for the M1903 Mauser rifle.

According to The Bayonet Book it has an

overall length of 14.875" (377.82mm)
blade length of 10" (254mm)
Muzzle ring dia of .610" (15.49mm)

They state that it was of cruder construction than the M1903 sword bayonet and it lacks any manufacturing marks. It came with an all steel scabbard and there is the possibility that it was made later than 1903 and is possibly of Turkish manufacture.
