Robert, when I had my C60 I remember a bunch of us were parked in the courtyard of the old war museum (ottawa) and a little old guy was looking intently at the truck.. I asked him about his interest and he said he used to drive one just like mine...
I asked if he`d like to sit in the driver seat..`Could I?¨.. Yeah sure!... and he scambled up into the seat like a teenager..and sat there looking out the windshield rubbing his hands around the steering wheel...
after a moment I asked if it brought back memories....Oh yes he said..yes indeed... lots of good ones...some bad ones too....
after a while he climbed down and with damp eyes thanked me..
A very short time later we were to head off the the old bus building where the museum stored lots of stuff...
I asked if he wanted to ride over with me... You bet!! and we drove the short distance with him standing out the hatch... after arrival he thanked me profusely and was alternately smiling and seeming introspective... simultaneously remembering so many private memories I guess, but added before he left that it was one of the best experiences he`d had in years..
