many thanks Lynn and Mike.
Yep thats about the info I need. I will contact the AWM and see if they will offer copies of the blank pages or attempt to get the NZ pubs that suit.
otherwise practice my spread sheet abilities and make them up.
I have used aircraft engine logs for the W-670's . All but the one in my tank are NOS so I am confident of the hours on them. The one in my tank is slated for replacement next year. ( errrr getting the armour off being the biggest part of that job)
For the soft skinned vehicles I figure I will treat the engine like a component and regulate servicing on miles driven as per what I suppose to be normal Army practice.
I see the Armoured vehicles a bit more like an aeroplane in terms of service requirements and the pubs have them serviced according to engine hours.
Main thing is to establish routine servicing bases on Time in operation and calendar time . ( the W-670 has a TBO of 1000 hrs or 12 years . Not sure if I would go so far as a bulk strip at 12 years but certainly a major inspection with engine out.)
